Spammy

by

computer spamIt seems that my spam catcher has went a little crazy. It has put every comment and trackback straight into the spam folder. No matter how many times the person has commented before or how legitimate the comment is, including my own comments, they go to spam. What a way to start the year.

I’ve been hoping that it was a temporary glitch and would sort itself out, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. And other bloggers on this network are complaining of the same thing. Rats.

I’ve been checking in 2 or 3 times a day to unspam all the real comments, but I tend to get 50+ pieces of spam a day. So if I miss a comment it gets deleted. If you don’t seem your comment show up just post it again and let me know. Unfortunately once I clear the spam I can’t bring anything back. If I missed your comment and it was really important just email me and let me know.

This also makes it hard to reply to comments. Before I would get an email letting me know of comments and I just replied from there. Now I have to open two tabs and copy and paste the email address and what was said and all that fun stuff. Sure it doesn’t sound like much, but I’m lazy. LOL I am trying to respond to comments at least every other day. But I’m a mom, you know how it goes.

At least I know it will be a spam free new year!
