Remember when I told you I read Parents Magazine
Do you remember way back when……I told you that I read lots of parenting magazines and sometimes I found them helpful and others…well….there simply wasn’t much to see.
Well, this time, Parents online has some really cool crafts. And, so, I’m going to share a few with you, you can go read all the directions yourself at the links.
Jolly Elves are just as cute as a button..or something like that. You can read how to do them here.
Oh and here is an awesome Tree Skirt…you gotta see this…It’s made with cookie cutters…
Have a Ball!
Squeeze paint inside clear ornaments for a swirly effect.
Advent Calendar
Each day, your child can pull out a tiny sweet treat or a mini ornament to stick on the tree.
Snow cute! These soft puppets are made from craft scraps, spare buttons, and socks.
Raid your craft drawer to decorate the tree: Make a flurry of snowflakes from buttons and Popsicle sticks, and jazz up felt birds with sparkly sequins.
Encase photos, crafty creatures, or holiday trinkets inside a plastic cup to make a nifty tree decoration.
Take your pictures out of the frame and create a clever holiday decoration.
Ok, that should keep us all busy for a while, don’t you think?

I love so many of these ideas. You have given me the “craft bug” can you now give me the time to actually do them?
My favorite is the “have a ball” squeezing paint inside of the clear ball sounds really cool. Each one will be unique.
Make sure you post pictures of the ones you did! LOL

I saw these ideas in Parents magazine too and was really intrigued by them. I love how colorful they are, and they really go beyond the typical red and green.
