More Cleaning to Do

by

My sudden drive to get rid of this clutter has sent me crawling back to an old love, Flylady. Oh, I’m terrible to her. I fall off the cleaning wagon, declare that she’s no good for me, then eventually come crawling back when I’m in over my head. Luckily she understands my issues and takes me back with open arms.

flyladyFor those not flying with the FlyLady now is your chance. This really is one of my favorite cleaning and decluttering methods that I’ve seen. There is no pressure to get it all done at once. instead you are reminded often to take baby steps and just do a little bit at a time. Work for 15 minutes then stop. You don’t want to burn yourself out on cleaning. That’s not a bad idea with homeschooling too. Work in short bursts then stop and relax, let your kids have some time off the hook.

What is great is that FlyLady has teamed up with Zwaggle. I love Zwaggle, I adore Zwaggle, I can’t help but smile with I think of Zwaggle. So this is my Works For Me Wednesday tip: Join FlyLday, Join Zwaggle, and get decluttered. Now!

Yes, that method would work very well with children and with most tasks of any kind. Who cannot do 15 min. of even an unpleasant task?

I like to refer to myself as … not a FlyLady or a FlyBaby … but a FlyLarvae!

I’m an on-again-off-again flybaby as well. Right now I’m also attempting to climb back on that wagon. I have never heard of Zwaggle though, so I am off to check that out.

    Good luck to you!

I actually just started using some of FlyLady’s tips. I wrote out a morning and bedtime routine and actually almost stuck to it. One of these days maybe I’ll get around to shining my sink. She really does help me get more things (not everything) done than before!
