Mom Is Yawning

by

tired momParden the light posting today, I was up way too late last night trying to clean my kitchen. My sister-in-law got a new fridge and gave us her old one, which is a major step up from the ancient relic we’ve been using. So I was trying to clean the kitchen to a more “presentable” level last night for the new fridge arrival today. And by presentable I mean anyone stepping in isn’t tempted to call an 1-800 number and report us. Maybe I’m exagerating a bit, but the layer of dust on top of the old fridge had an advanced civilization developing in it.

You can go back to yesterday’s post for something semi-intelligent. Or wait til tomorrow when I’ll be hosting the Carnival of Homeschooling. Be sure to get a post in now if you haven’t already. I promise it will be a good one!

Since I’m too tired to write a great blog post today I’ll direct your attention to a super new blog worth reading. Homeschooler Savvy It is written by two awesome homeschooling moms hiding out in the state of Mississippi. They are pooling their collective knowledge into one place for all the world to enjoy. There’s a grat post up now on what they suggest for a kid who has just started to read. Definitely check it out if you’re in that scenerio and not sure where to go. And speaking of kids learning to read, may I direct you to a video of my son getting that whole reading thing figured out. Warning, sibling on sibling violence at the end. Can’t we all just get along? I guess not…

    Cute kids.

    Sibling violence amongst homeschoolers. Hmm.

    I think I hear Sixty-Minutes knocking.
