Laurel Springs Video Contest Winner

In case you haven’t seen it yet the winner of the Laurel Springs Distance Learning program video contest has been announced. You can check out all of the winners here.

The theme was to show why homeschooling is cool. This 13 year old hit the nail on the head. Not only does it show why homeschooling is cool, it also gives a slight nudge to the naysayers who think homeschoolers live in a bubble.

    Oh, that brought tears to my eyes because this is how I want my kids to feel. I remember all too well those long, boring hours in classrooms.

    Awesome. what a great video explaining homeschooling and the way everyone wants their kids to feel about it. i was unsure about our recent decision to homeschool instead of sending our children away, i don’t beleive it can be wrong now.
