Girl, if I had $300 dollars I would buy a laptop so we could do homeschool work on it without excuses of “I can’t do anything with HIM yelling!”. lol.

  2. tanyetta Says:

If I had $300, I would set up a really cool mini school in the corner of my kitchen so I could get my son more interested in learning fun things and not to whine so much when it’s time once again to go outside and do school on the driveway with sidewalk chalk! :)

  3. Grace Says:

If I had $300, I would buy mu daughter’s favorite books and an art set to keep her busy during this very hideously humid summer. She can’t go out and play in the park until October so the $300 would go a long way to buy educational yet entertaining stuffs! Count me in!

  4. Zakk Says:

With $300 I’d buy my college books with, the rate at which those books go anymore is just staggering. I just don’t understand the need for such outrageous pricing for knowledge.

  5. Jo Says:

Zakk- my husband just paid for his college books too so I can completely understand what you mean! $100 for a book you’re only going to use a few months and then when you try to sell it back they give you $20 if you’re lucky. :(

  6. silken Says:

my daughter has been asking for a laptop, so we’d put the money toward that. I will also begin homeschooling my nephews this year, so I’d buy whatever I find that they need, plus take some field trips.

  7. Lesley Says:

    Hmm….with $300.00 I could do a lot!! :0) I will definatly be commenting. ;0)

  8. Dawn Says:

My $300 would go to lots of paper models of ancient buildings and a particular science curriculum I’ve been eyeing for awhile.

  9. Cynthia Says:

art supplies … paint brushes, watercolors, paper, art journals for everyone.

  10. Laane Says:

No doubt about this: all the dollars would go towards buying a computer for my autistic son.

It will mean so much for him, but also for all of us here at home.
When he doesn’t have a computer he feels so sad.
He can’t communicate well, but in online games he’s just like all others.

The computer will also come in handy for schoolwork.
He’ll get a simple laptop for at school, but he isn’t allowed to take it home to make homework.

He can’t write well, because his movements are not well coordinated, so teachers complain a lot.

I have tried to do sponsored blogging all summer, but the opportunities were not as good as I hope for. So I haven’t reached what I need to get that much wished for computer.

  11. Lorri Says:

Wow with $300 for school supplies I could buy all my curriculum new instead of used but that wouldn’t be as exciting as to use the money to take the kids on a 2 day excursion to a living history site where the kids can see the crafts and activities folks did before there was tv and computers and all that fun modern stuff.
