For any blooming writers out there, there is a great contest going on right now at the homeschoolestore.com. A spring Essay contest for homeschoolers, featuring great prizes such as an MP3 player, a mouse pad speaker, or a journaling and writing kit. The contest is simple:

Have your 5-8 year old child write a 1 paragraph essay entitled “Everything’s Coming Up.” Children ages 9 and up should write 3 paragraphs, also titled “Everything’s Coming Up.”
