Earth Day – Hello !

by

I’ve never been one to big into small holidays.  I mean, if it weren’t for blogging, I might not have even known about the whole Earth Day celebration.  But, with that, you can rest assured that I have an Earth Day giveaway for you!

As you may or may not know, the History Channel has turned the popular broadcast from last year, Life After People, into a new TV series that debuted last night at 10pm.  You can check it out here and read more about it.  And, you can get the first episode on iTunes at The History Channel Store.

If you haven’t seen the program, it has great visuals reminding us how this planet could move on without us if we don’t shape up.  Here’s a little more about it as well.

Life after People: If humans were suddenly to disappear, what would happen to our planet?  HISTORY® takes you on an amazing visual journey in LIFE AFTER PEOPLE, a though-provoking adventure that combines movie-quality visual effects with insights with insights from experts in the fields of engineering, botany, ecology, biology, geology, climatology, and archeology to demonstrate how the very landscape of our planet will change in our absence.

So, if you would like to win a copy of the DVD for yourself – comment on this post before midnight at April 24th.  I’ll get the winner on Saturday the 25th and the sponsor will mail you the DVD on Monday.  Does it get any better than that?

So, start commenting……..1 comment per day please, other than that, hit me with a comment the next 3 days in a row.
