Do You Love Homeschooling?
by
Back in September I wrote about why I love homeschooling. It was a fun list that inspired a few others to share their own joyous homeschooling reaons. Recently Jo decided to share her 8 reasons because of that post. And picking up on the bandwagon (no, you’re not a lemming) Eden shared her 8 reasons And last Thursday Melissa asked people to share their reasons for homeschooling.
I smell a trend coming on. Is anyone else going to jump onboard? I always love reading why other familes choose to homschool and what parts of it are their favorites. So if anyone lse decides to share let me know. I’d love to come read it!

Whenever I want to write one of these posts, we have one of those ‘crash and burn’ days, so I’ve backed off. Hopefully, we’ll get on a more positive roll soon and I’ll be posting our reasons we love homeschooling too!

Great idea for a post..I’ll have to work on that..
My top reasons?
1. My daughter is much happier
2. We can work on a flexible schedule and don’t have to succumb to a 9-5 world. (We’re night owls. A lot of learning is done at 1AM!)
3. Her studies can be tailored to her interests
4. She’s not exposed to the bad language and bad examples in school.
5. I can read to her all night in bed and it counts as school work and we don’t have to worry about getting up in the morning.
6. She can PLAY and use her imagination, which is what children are supposed to be doing!!!
7. She can go outside when it’s nice out - and do her schooling when it’s dark or the weather is bad.
8. No worry about school psychologists/therapist/analysts who think they know your child better than you!
