Carnival of SAHMs

by

christmas decorationWelcome to another fun edition of the Carnival of SAHMs! December is counting down and Christmas is nearly upon us. This can be crunch time for families living off of one income. If you’re stressing on what to do this holiday season go get a cup of warm tea with honey, light a scented candle or two, and come back to relax and enjoy the carnival. See, you’re already feeling better aren’t you?

The winter months can gt a little crazy, especially if you have young children who are stuck inside. Having a flexible schedule in place can be a great way to calm the cabin fever. Amy presents A Super Easy Flexible Schedule for Your Kids posted at Kid Daze, saying, “Find out how to easily get your kids on a schedule.”

And hopefully having a nice schedule in place will help enough that you don’t have to resort to tying them up. Or worse. Rose presents How to Properly Drug Your Preschooler….What Will They Think of Next? posted at Learning at Home.

If the winter months bring dry skin you’re not alone. Mitch McDonald presents All Natural Remedy for Dry Skin, Eczema and Dermatitis posted at FYI About.com.

Though for some it can bring more than just dry skin. :: Suzanne :: presents Seborrheic Dermatitis aka Cradle Cap posted at :: adventures in daily living ::.

938_040_Moms_Posters.jpgSometimes when what we’ve got doesn’t work we’ve got to find a way to make it work. Luckily we SAHMs tend to be resourceful creatures. Jaimie presents Resourcefulness posted at Hug Twice, saying, “Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.”

Though sometimes it’s someone else that gets resourceful. Where did that extra S come from? Find out when WhatWorksForUs presents The Biggest Loser posted at What Works For Us.

This time of year always has a little magic in it. Renae presents Searching for Snow Globes posted at Life Nurturing Education.

If you are looking for a way to celebrate it a little more this time of year Leticia Velasquez presents THE JESSE TREE posted at cause of our joy.

Don’t get too overwhelmed this holiday season trying to get it all done. SingForHim presents What Did You “Get Done” Today? posted at Real Life, saying, “Do you ever lose sight of the real value of staying at home with the kids? Sometimes I need a new perspective.”

Just remember, you don’t have to be super-mom. Amanda presents Super Mom Vol. 3: Rachel Florio posted at Pajama Mommy.

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of Carnival of SAHMs using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
